Since my baby left me
I found a new place to be
building supercomputers for the greater glory of the EEC.
We're making ours decoupled,
and its loops can be pipelined,
and now it's got so many programmed parts, I'm afraid I'm gonna lose my mind.

The AP's gone crazy, stuffing null tokens in the queues,
the DP's revolving, and the CP's all confused.

It might be CMOS, it might be ECL
or maybe it could even be GaAS,
but it's going to have to be big-endian, or the Great Dane's gonna bite my ass.
The compiler team is off in Belgium.
They never have much to say,
except they want to feed FORTRAN to a three-headed dog,
and have it sit up and bark like a Cray!

The AP's gone crazy, stuffing null tokens in the queues,
the DP's revolving, and the CP's got the blues.

I don't care if our partners desert us,
or if our investors play games.
we may not be able to build the components, but at least we can change all the names.
We've got a golden voice now to talk to memory,
a copper there to search the scene,
some heavy hydrogen now to feed loop fusion,
it's a real Heavy Metal Machine!

The AU's gone crazy, stuffing null tokens in the queues,
the DU's revolving, and the CU's all confused...
